Tess Gerritsen "Surgeon"

21 July 2010
Author: Tess Gerritsen Title: The Surgeon Genre: Medical thriller Date of first publication: 2001 Description: An extremely brutal killer, dubbed "The Surgeon" by the media, murders young single women by performing hysterectomies on them without anesthesia. The police determine that a similar series of murders took place two years earlier, and that the perpetrator was shot by Dr. Catherine Cordell, a beautiful doctor employed at a Boston medical center—the only victim who managed to survive. Catherine feels threatened again. Her only ally seems to be the detective leading the investigation. Is there a connection between the two cases and the two killers? All I can add is that I really, really recommend it :-)
