Author: Michael Palmer Title: The Hippocratic Society Genre: Medical thriller Year of first publication: 2004 Description: A well-known and respected young surgeon who is actively involved in charity work becomes entangled in a series of murders of health insurance executives. The killer implies over the phone that the murders are revenge for the death of a loved one caused by the callousness of the health insurance companies, and also “appoints” him as his spokesperson. The investigation is led by a young police officer, Patty Moriarity, who suspects from the start that there is more to these murders, but she is sidelined from the investigation. Wspaniała książka! Nie mogłem się oderwać od jej czytania. Polecam szczególnie wielbicielom kryminałów i medycyny.
