The Hare Doctors (Scrubs)

23 October 2010
Country and year: USA, 2001 Genre: Drama, comedy Cast: Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley, Ken Jenkins, Neil Flynn, Sam Lloyd, Christa Miller, Robert Maschio A lighthearted take on *ER*. That’s a fair way to describe this series. The story revolves around a rookie doctor, John "Dorian" a.k.a. "JD," and his friends at St. Heart Hospital. As we watch the series, we follow the professional and romantic adventures of the main character, surgeon Christopher Turk, Hispanic nurse Carla Espinosa, young doctor Elliot Reid, and many other interesting and colorful characters—such as the hospital director or the comical janitor (often called the “janitor”). Scrubs combines the best of medical dramas (the drama of the action, the medical plot itself) and comedies. Contrary to appearances, this explosive mix of emotion and laughter-until-you-cry has produced excellent material that, for many—including myself—has no flaws (or at least no significant ones that could overshadow all its merits)! I can honestly recommend Scrubs to all fans of medical dramas and comedies.
