It places particular emphasis on the relationships among staff members and the staff’s attitude toward patients. It presents a distorted view of the shortcomings of the Polish healthcare system and the functioning of a hospital. The series was inspired by, among others, “Hospital on the Outskirts,” “ER,” and “For Better or Worse.”
