MCR points for active users — collect the most in a given month and claim a reward!
Monthly rankingMCR points are awarded for specific activities. The user who collects the most in a given month receives a reward. After each month, MCR points are reset, and the winner of that month cannot receive a reward for collected points in the immediately following month.
What are MCR points awarded for?
- 300 MCR points — for publishing a case-quiz (clinical case + open questions in the body; readers answer in comments).
- 300 MCR points — for publishing a case-test (clinical case + structured multiple-choice / image / free-text questions with author-set point values).
- 500 MCR points — for an article published in the MedCaseReports Journal (after peer review, phase PUBLISHED).
- 300 MCR points — for publishing a review of a book, film or TV series with a medical theme.
- 100 MCR points — for every comment under any material (quiz, test, journal article, news, review). Awarded immediately after POST for signed-in users; anonymous commenters do not receive MCR points.
- 200 MCR points — when a quiz author clicks „+” on your comment under their quiz (one-time, no take-back).
- X MCR points — for solving a test on the 1st attempt, where X = sum of points from correct answers (1 pt = 1 MCR point; the author sets at least 1 pt per question). Subsequent attempts award 0 MCR points. Points from contests and LEK-endium count too.
Monthly reset: the monthly ranking resets on the 1st of each month at 01:00 PL time. Top 100 of the previous month are archived (history of the ranking). Lifetime MCR points are NOT cleared — you always see them in your profile.
