Dear Sir/Madam, we would cordially like to invite you to the4th Joint Preservation Congress which will be held on 14-16 September 2017 atthe Sofitel Victoria Hotel in Warsaw. The Congress will focus on the treatment ofearly degenerative lesions in the knee joint. The discussion will centre onpreventive treatment connected with the application of knee joint surgical techniques,which reduce the risk of future degenerative process. This year, we would liketo draw particular attention to the application of modern methods based onminimally invasive surgical techniques, biotechnology and stem celltransplants. The early treatment after a kneeinjury is critical and extremely challenging due to changing technicalsolutions and therapeutic views. However, its results have an impact on the future joint function. Ourgoal is to avoid or at least slow down the progres of a degenerative disease. Challengesfaced by modern diagnostics and therapy continuously and dynamically evolve.Therefore, we understand the constant need to verify our views regarding thissubject and to discuss them with all specialists involved. During the Congress,the speakers will present modern and very often crucial views  concerningthe treatment of degenerative disease and injuries of the knee joint.Theoretical lectures will be verified on the spot in practical applications inthe presence of the participants during the “live” surgery sessions. Rehabilitation guarantees successof therapeutic procedures related to the knee joint and it can ofteneffectively replace them. Nowadays, when the therapeutic process becomes moreand more complicated, cooperation of a complete medical team – consisting of asurgeon, radiologist, nurse and physiotherapist – is indispensable. Withoutfull understanding of every link in this chain, one cannot expect that theentire process of patient care will be successful.
