Description:
A few months ago, I stumbled upon Nick Vujicic’s videos on YouTube by chance. I was in shock. A man with no arms and only one leg stump was standing on a table, smiling broadly and speaking inspiringly to people. An incredible experience?
A month ago, a book was published in which Nick describes his story even more vividly. He was born without arms or legs, yet this doesn’t stop him from considering himself the happiest man in the world. However, it wasn’t always like that; he had moments of despair—he wanted to commit suicide, but… he picked himself up, was baptized, and as a Christian, by proclaiming his faith in God, helps others escape suffering and a bleak view of the world. He inspires people to live and enjoy every moment. He encourages us to look at the world from a different angle and to realize that most of the limitations people create for themselves are trivial and easy to overcome. This book, which you’ll read in one sitting, is an incredible testimony as well as a source of inspiration and motivation to take action. It portrays a man who, despite having no limbs, achieves things that seem unattainable given his disability—he skydives, surfs, swims, and is fully capable of taking care of himself, from using the restroom to cooking a meal.
.
I recommend it to everyone. It’s a book for both those who see no meaning in life and those who like to enjoy every moment. It gives you a “kick,” gives you wings, and at the same time serves as a study of an incredible case.
