Director: Maciej Pieprzyca

Description: A socially conscious and emotionally charged film. Mateusz (Ogrodnik) suffers from cerebral palsy. He cannot speak, and his upper and lower limbs are paralyzed. He uses a wheelchair and is interested in astronomy. A doctor from a local center determined long ago that he would remain a “vegetable” for the rest of his life. Mateusz’s parents, however, are fighting. A turning point in the boy’s life will be his encounter with… more or less attractive
members of the opposite sex."Life Is Worth Living" is a heartwarming story about the world of a person with a disability. Not exaggerated, it is a film about a man trapped in his own body, who is finally given a way, a language, or a form of self-expression and communication with those around him. A story that captivates the viewer endlessly. Already today, many place it on par with "My Left Foot," "The Intouchables," or "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly."
In "Life Feels Good," Pieprzyca employed the same technique as the director of the last of the aforementioned films: he gave the main character a voice and placed the viewer in a privileged position—hearing Mateusz’s inner monologue. Seeing and understanding more than Mateusz’s surroundings.
