Dr. Guy Luthan works in the emergency room. One evening, an ambulance brings in a homeless man in critical condition. He dies shortly thereafter, and the doctors are unable to determine the cause of death. Shortly before his death, the patient tells Luthan that he was given a certain drug, but none of the medical staff has heard of it. The doctor begins a private investigation and discovers something unimaginable... Medical experiments are being conducted at the famous clinic by neurologist Dr. Lawrence Myrick. However, Luthan can do nothing—the FBI is protecting the murderers, and on top of that, someone is trying to ruin his life...

Dla mnie film przeciętny. Kiedyś miałem go na oku, ale niskie oceny na Filmwebie mnie odstraszyły. Hugh Grant w roli lekarza zupełnie się nie sprawdził - cały czas miałem wrażenie jakby tą jego postać wyjęli z komedii romantycznej i rzucili 'na szeroką wodę' Za to Dawid Morse i Gene Hackmann na swoim poziomie - i właśnie dla nich ten film warto obejrzeć. Jak nie ma za bardzo czego zrobić z czasem. ;>
