School of Feelings (Walk to Remember, A)
28 August 2011
Jamie Sullivan, a typical wallflower, a modest girl who doesn’t care about her appearance, dedicates her free time to helping weaker students, and is involved in school and church affairs (as the pastor’s daughter); and Landon Carter—a handsome, confident, fun-loving teenager who belongs to the school’s elite. The only thing that had connected these two, extremely different people throughout their lives so far was school and services at the local church. And as you might guess, feelings begin to develop between them. However, not everything is beautiful and rosy. Dark clouds of cancer loom on the horizon.

Both the film and the book are a story of a school romance, a story that is overly sweet and painfully formulaic.
In my opinion, the film was too sentimental and too predictable. However, many people liked it
